Manage multiple initiatives at once. You may want to run short-term initiatives for launching products or important events and evergreen initiatives for long-term objectives such as brand awareness or customer loyalty. You can view snapshot metrics from all of your initiatives together or individually.
Companies
This feature is great for agencies or anybody who runs social media for more than one company. You can manage more than one company within one Spredfast account.
Auto Import
Even when you communicate on social media channels using the web or another application, our software can auto import those microblogs, blogs, photos and videos. Just enable Auto Import and Spredfast will bring the content into your initiative so that you can track and measure the content as though it were pushed out from Spredfast.
Multiple Channels
Spredfast supports an ambitious number of social media channels, including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, MySpace, YouTube, Flickr, Hyves, and SlideShare, and blogging platforms, including Wordpress, Blogger, Moveable Type, Drupal, Lotus, and any XML-RPC based blog. With Professional and Enterprise plans, you can also publish video through Tube Mogul to a wide variety of video sites.

Roles & Privileges
Your organization may want everybody to have administrative access to an initiative, or they may want strong oversight of each outbound communication. You can even invite people to have access to view only metrics. With Spredfast, the administrator can set customizable permissions that reflect your organization’s workflow.

Once you have a social media strategy, your whole team has to implement it. Schedule your posts by creating shells of events without content, and then assign the task to the appropriate author.
To Do List
The To Do List is a simple collection of outbound communication that have been assigned to you. The list will include all Events assigned to you, including the Events that are complete and approved. The To-Do list is present on every screen within Spredfast, and it includes Events for the current day and the next six days as well.

You know what you and your team need to be monitoring closely. Create a search and it is immediately available for your whole team to review and optimize. Add keywords to search major search engines and websites, and the data from the stream is archived in our database from when the stream is added. You can insert a link or content directly to an event to be published for your initiative.
Sentiment Stream
Quickly get a bead on the sentiment of the conversation about your brand, company, organization or campaign taking place on the web by using our sentiment streams. Simply plug in your keywords, and Social Mention will analyze the conversation items and provide a sentiment. Social Mention, Crimson Hexagon and Radian6 integration is available on Professional and Enterprise plans.
Feeds Dashboard
All of the relevant listening on one dashboard. We like to call it a Social Stream. We pull in your activity and engagement, information from your existing accounts, as well as the persistent streams and sentiment streams.
Inbox
The Inbox is a compilation of your most important feeds. The Inbox does more than highlight important content. It also helps your team stay coordinated, because you can mark items that have been read, archive items, respond to items, and the Inbox will provide a visual clue to your teammates that action has been taken.
Conversation History
Found in the Inbox, Spredfast archives all of the conversations you have with your customers. Your customers will remember every interaction they’ve had with you, and they will expect that you remember, too. That’s why we save your conversation history and make it easily accessible from our listening platform.
Communicate
Events Calendar/Agenda
This is a collection of all of the outbound communication your team has distributed or plan to distribute. We allow you to view it in these two helpful formats, and color code it so you can see the status of each communication (e.g. needs content, draft, ready to go). The calendar view is especially useful for visualizing the cadence of your social media activity.
Scheduled Content
Schedule content such as blog posts, videos, photos, or microblogs to be published at any time of day, or on a recurring basis. The ability to schedule in advance empowers you to create and execute a content strategy that will maximize your social media bang for the buck.
Quick Post
Sometimes you just need to get your message out right now. Publish microblogs immediately with Quick Post—and Spredfast still provides all of the same granular metrics data.
Auto-Retweet
Need to get the ball rolling on a particular piece of content? You can schedule reposts and retweets of your content on microblogs from the various accounts you have in an initiative.
Account Groupings
Without personality, your content seems lifeless. Within Spredfast, you can create personas and communicate through them to multiple social media channels. We call these personas Voices, and they make it easy and secure to have many authors create content, communicate with segments of your audience using their lingo, and measure the effectiveness of collections of communications.
Your target demographic is using social media, so start engaging them. Spredfast does the rest of the work. With our measuring and reporting tools, you will know how your social media efforts are trending over the short- and long-term. If you have an initiative for your annual event or promotion, you can even compare it to last year’s effort. You’ll also know which content led to clicks, leads, and sharing and which didn’t, so you can continually improve your approach and calculate your social media ROI.

Social CRM
We know you're not only using social media, but also web content, email, direct mail and events to engage with your market, and you probably have a CRM system lurking in the background with lots of great data. We want to add social media data to that rich data store. Soon, Enterprise plans include integration with Salesforce and Oracle Social CRM.
Big Picture Metrics
You need to know how your campaign is going, but you can’t always look through all of the numbers. Spredfast adds up all of the activity, engagement, and reach for all of your social media accounts and reports it against a rolling three-week average so you can get a broad sense of how you’re doing.
Granular Metrics
We track every piece of activity and engagement and determine the reach and engagement of every content piece you distribute. If you need a very specific detail, the metrics panel provides it.
Sentiment Metrics
In addition to seeing sentiment scores for individual comments, we also aggregate the data so you can take a pulse of the conversation about your brand over variable timeframes.

Link Tagging & Web Analytics
Make sure you know how your social media efforts lead to new business and activity on your web site. With Professional and Enterprise plans, you can integrate your Google Analytics or Omniture accounts and track your audience all the way from tweet to conversion. Soon, we'll add WebTrends to that list as well.
Bit.ly Integration
Spredfast measures clicks on blogs and micro-blogs (i.e. Tweet or Facebook status update) by converting URLs into shortened bit.ly links. Use ours or use your own bit.ly account. Spredfast automatically adds destination specific encoding to the links so you can determine the number of clicks from each social media channel used to distribute a single piece of content.
Export Metrics
You can't shake the spreadsheet. All metrics can be downloaded to a CSV file allowing you to tailor and define your social media ROI. You can also export your custom graphical reports.
Charts & Reports
Create fantastic looking charts using all of the granular data Spredfast tracks, and pull them into a custom report that you can show off around the office.
