The UI Engineer will be a part of a highly talented team using cutting-edge technologies to enhance our platform. The UI team is developing new solutions using client-side MVC and other modern technologies such as HTML5, CSS3 and LESS CSS.

Desired skills and experience:

  • Expert level JavaScript, CSS and HTML skills
  • Significant experience developing web applications using JavaScript, HTML, CSS, AJAX and jQuery.  The more HTML5 and CSS3 experience, the better.
  • Proficiency in at least one strongly typed object-oriented programming language.
  • Experience developing applications utilizing the MVC design pattern.
  • Experience with test driven development.
  • Experience with technologies such as JavaScriptMVC, backbone.js, etc. strongly preferred.
  • Experience developing with REST APIs preferred.
  • Familiarity with dependency injection is preferred.

Director of Social Services

Location: Austin, Texas

Job Type: Full-Time, Salaried with Benefits and Incentive Compensation and Stock Options

Reports to: EVP of Professional Services

The Director of Social Services will play an integral role in the development of Spredfast’s growing services team as we compliment Spredfast’s SMMS platform with additional expertise to apply to specific customer situations. These services will likely include social strategy consulting, Facebook implementation services, and social reporting & analytics design and consultation.

The ideal candidate will have an extensive background in digital and/or social media consulting – some of which will include developing and executing social programs or technologies for Fortune 1000 brands. Candidates for this position should have a burning desire to help complex organizations realize the full value of social engagement to drive meaningful business results.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, package, price, and deliver repeatable professional service offerings that address customer needs and align with Spredfast’s flagship software solutions
  • Recruit, hire, train, and manage new employees with relevant experience, skills, and expertise
  • Align with Sales to advocate Spredfast software and/or solutions with customers and prospects
  • Manage financial results for the Social Services team within the company

Qualifications:

  • Proven understanding of the importance and use social media, though both a work examples and personal use and adoption of social media

Social Business Strategist

Location: Austin, Texas

Reports to: Director of Social Services

Spredfast is seeking a Social Business Strategist to add to our growing services team. The mission of the services team is to provide Spredfast’s SMMS customers with additional, customized expertise in social business to unlock the most value possible from platform use. The Strategist’s role within this team is to develop and implement plans for fully utilizing the platform’s advantages based on an understanding of the customer’s existing social media plans, organization and governance. Activities will likely include discovery and documentation of KPIs, mapping the social organization (to optimize the configuration of the product), change management, best practices documentation/playbooks, and reporting design. Because of the unique position of being able to see how brands are performing across the portfolio, this role will also work with Account Management to provide results coaching for customers interested in improving their engagement rates.

The ideal candidate will have a background working with social media marketers to develop and deliver social programs for Fortune 1000 brands. Candidates for this position should have an insatiable curiosity for how complex organizations are putting social media to productive use and the role of technology tools to improve their impact.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with Customer Success and Sales to understand customer dynamics and design strategic services offering
  • Partner with a cross-functional onboarding team to design customer onboarding plans
  • Develop and understand best practices across the Spredfast customer portfolio
  • Support Account Management with ongoing results analysis and coaching
  • Translation of customers marketing needs to potential Facebook executional recommendations
  • Work with the Director of Social Services to develop repeatable strategy service offerings

Qualifications:

Social Support Specialist

Location:  Austin, Texas

Job Type:  Full Time, Salaried with Benefits, Bonus, Stock Options

Reports to:  Director of Customer Success

A high-touch, low volume customer enablement role, Social Support Specialists are functional experts in virtually all areas of Spredfast’s Social CRM solution, and therefore must understand social media concepts and technologies in order to support Spredfast users.  You’ll help configure and on-board new customers in our system, educate & train users, troubleshoot problems, enter bugs, and develop best practices to ensure all Spredfast clients are provided an exceptional customer service and support experience. Additionally, Support Specialists work closely with the Spredfast Development, Sales, and Marketing organizations as a customer advocate, ensuring appropriate feedback is provided and customer needs are met.

The ideal Spredfast Social Support Specialist is a good listener who is articulate, responsive, patient, and possesses the ability to explain a wide range of social media concepts to clients with varying levels of social media and/or technical knowledge.  Spredfast Support Specialists must respond to inquiries via phone, email, and ticket systems.  Thorough documentation and follow through is essential.  Occasional travel may be required (less than 20%) for customer visits.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree, Associate Degree, or equivalent experience
  • 3-5 years of previous technical support or customer service experience

Director of Product Marketing

The Director of Product Marketing defines, packages and delivers the go to market messaging for the Spredfast Social CRM software platform. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated ability to work with groups from all parts of a company to develop and deliver unique product messaging. The Director must be expert in identifying buyers, key buying criteria and product differentiators for our target customers - social marketers at the largest enterprises in the world. Beyond research, the Director must also be expert in developing marketing assets for our go-to-market teams - including presentations, website content, marketing program content. The Director will also represent Spredfast to analysts, at conferences and with press - so strong presentation and communication skills are also essential. Finally, the Director must have experience managing and mentoring small teams.

Responsibilities

  • Create a compelling messaging platform, including presentations, blogging, white papers, webinars, events
  • Lead cross-functional groups to identify key differentiators and provide feedback on product direction
  • Work with sales and marketing groups to develop industry/vertical specific messaging
  • Deliver product presentations to prospects, customers, industry analysts
  • Develop and execute product launch plans
  • Package messages/differentiation for targets markets
  • Run competitive analysis on segments as well as individual companies

Requirements:

Facebook Solution Architect

The Facebook Solution Architect defines and delivers Facebook Page Tabs for major brands and agencies. In this key position, you will focus on designing and implementing Facebook Page Tabs for our clients based on our platform’s app builder. When the client request goes beyond our platform, you will need to work with our team to provide a custom solution. The ideal candidate will have experience designing and implementing Facebook Tabs as well as managing delivery by small internal and external technical teams. The Facebook Solution Architect will also work closely with the Spredfast Product Development team to identify new functional requirements and help define the capabilities to add to our platform to simplify development and ongoing maintenance of Facebook Tabs by our customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Interview prospects and customers to understand their social strategy and develop proposals for how Facebook Tabs can help implement that strategy
  • Define project plans for delivering Facebook Tabs that may involve internal and external design and technical resources
  • Manage implementation of multiple projects by a small team (1-3) of application developers and designers
  • Implement processes and systems for managing custom code and assets developed for customers
  • Engage with Product Development team to suggest improvements to Spredfast Social CRM Platform

 

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years experience building Facebook Tab Pages
  • Experience delivering sophisticated Facebook Tab experiences - including market specific pages, contests, sweepstakes, videos and pictures
  • Experience delivering Facebook tabs for large corporations with rigorous brand guidelines is a plus
  • Experience working with the Facebook APIs, especially via the JavaScript SDK
  • Experience designing and implementing rich web pages

As the Regional Sales Manager you will generate, develop and close new business in the Enterprise and Mid-Market segments.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Passion around selling our Social CRM solution to high quality accounts in the Enterprise, Mid-Market Segments.
  • Generate, develop and close new business. Meet or exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets.
  • Call on senior-level executive contacts (CMO, CEO, VP of PR, VP Customer Service).
  • Manage a highly consultative, complex sales cycle.
  • Work closely with prospective clients to understand their business objectives and create the most appropriate solution to meet their needs.
  • Develop deep relationships with clients, maintaining the client asset for the long term.
  • Work in a team environment with our Customer Experience Team to retain and grow accounts.
  • Create and manage territory and account plans.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years proven sales experience in software sales or services.
  • Experience selling high-end software solutions and/or consulting services to Enterprise and Mid-Market companies.
  • Strong executive-level/decision-maker contacts in Enterprise and Mid-Market companies.
  • Experience selling to senior level marketers (i.e. CMO) is a strong asset.
  • Proven success in developing new business and managing complex sales cycle, from generating leads to closing deals.
  • Proven track record of penetrating and expanding large corporate accounts.
  • Proven track record of succeeding $M quotas and goals.
  • Experienced selling both applications and services.
  • Exceptional written and oral presentation skills.
  • Bachelor Degree (or equivalent); Masters Degree an asset.
